IBPA Decides On Pro Chukker

The International Beach Polo Association recently inked a deal making the Pro Chukker Arena Master the official ball of the IBPA.  The ball had been previously proven on the sand being the official ball of both the 2009 and 2010 Miami Beach Polo Championships as well as the 2010 Paspaley Beach Polo Championship in Broome, Australia.

“The construction, properties and quality control exhibited by Pro Chukker in the production of the Arena Master allows the IBPA to name the Arena Master as the Official ball of the International Beach Polo Association,” said association chairman Alex Webbe.

“It is important that the ball employed in beach polo competition exhibit both durability and continuity of manufacturing standards in the production of the ball.  It is also of paramount importance that the ball is sturdy enough to withstand the vigorous play demanded in beach polo competition,” Webbe added.

“The worldwide popularity of beach polo is growing exponentially each year.” explained Pro Chukker’s Michael Moertl, “We are incredibly proud to have been chosen by the IBPA as their official ball and are absolutely committed to maintaining the high level of quality and professionalism that defines the International Beach Polo Association.”  He added, “See you in Ibiza!”

England’s SUPA National Tournament to use Pro Chukker Arena Polo Balls

England’s Schools and Universities Polo Association (SUPA) has chosen to use the Pro Chukker Arena Master polo ball for their 2010 Arena National Universities Tournament being held Feb 18-21 at the Hand Equestrian Center in North Somerset. The tourney will set a world record for number of teams ever entered in a polo tournament (over 100) and marks the first time the world’s four largest arena polo tournaments have used the same ball. The four tournaments include the 2010 SUPA, the 2009 International Miami Beach Arena Polo Tournament, the 2009 US Arena Championships and the 2010 USPA Intercollegiate Nationals being held in March

Mexico Chooses Pro Chukker

Club Polo Cabo’s 2009 Annual Beach Polo Tournament was held Nov. 14-15 on the beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and a great time was had by all. The event was first held in 2008 and is used to promote Club Polo Cabo’s residential development and polo fields located just 7 miles North of downtown Cabo San Lucas. “Club Polo Cabo is the finest polo facility on Mexico’s Baja Pennisula” a spokesman for Pro Chukker said, “We are honored they chose the Pro Chukker Arena Master arena polo ball and umpire pickup stick for both their facility and tournament because they want only the best.”

Pro Chukker Equips 2009 U.S. Arena Polo Championship

The California Polo Club announced today that the Pro Chukker Arena Master has been chosen as the official ball and pickup stick of the 2009 US Arena Polo Championships. In May, Pro Chukker was previously chosen as the official ball of the 2009 World Beach Polo Championships that took place in Miami Beach, Florida. “Pro Chukker spent over eight months developing an arena ball that flies arrow-straight, provides superior play and is extremely durable. It is also the only ball manufactured that actually meets all USPA arena polo ball specifications. We are extremely proud to have been chosen as the official ball of the US Arena Polo Championships.”
